North Korea, the worst in everything...

According to the '2011 failed states index' published by Fund for Peace, an independent Washington D.C. based nonprofit research and educational institution, and the magazine, Foreign Policy, North Korea ranked 22nd out of 177 countries as one of the most failed state in the world. And in 'Global Peace Index 2012' published by the Institute for Economics and Peace, North Korea ranked as 152 countries out of 158 countries as the world's peaceful country.
North Korea has been stigmatized for decades as the world's most corrupt, inhumane, un-free country in the world.
However, North Korea maintains that their country is a paradise, and their people are the happiest in the world.
It is pure insanity.

North Korea = Robbers

If you borrow, it's common sense to pay back!
However, if you are unable to pay back, you must explain the reasons for the plight you are in, and request for an extension of maturity dates.
South Korea recently requested North Korea to fulfill their long-overdue debt duties, but there is no response from North Korea.
(North Korea must pay back 720 million dollars by 2037, and 5.78 million dollars by 2013.)
Moreover, North Korea ignored the Korean government's request of payment, and enforcing provocations and threats against South Korea instead.
North Korea's actions are totally incomprehensible to a person or entity of commonsense.

Bunch of liars...

North Korea is bullshitting once again.
The US started the Korean war??
Korean War started in 1950 because of North Korea's ambush invasion, which later developed into a 3 year and 2 months long full-scale war between UN forces that supported South Korea, and the Chinese forces, divided into the democratic camp, and the communist camp, that supported North Korea.
North Korea's provocation resulted in countless casualties from US and Korea, trying to defend liberty and peace. As a result for the sacrifices of the war heroes, Korea exists as it is known to the day.
Everybody knows the truth. I don't understand why North Korea is talking nonsense. Seems like Kim Jong Un gets constipation, if he is not denounced for a day.

U.S. Senate has passed a law that prohibits food aid to North Korea

U.S. Senate has passed a law that prohibits food aid to North Korea.
Such result may be reasonable.
By carrying out nuclear experiments and launching missiles, North Korea has lead to distrust from the international community.
In addition, they haven't distributed the food aid they received to their people but used it for their army. Can this be another reason that stopped international food aid?
Lately, North Korea has asked for expansion on food aid and economic cooperation from Southeast Asian countries but couldn't have much result. This shows that the credibility of North Korea has hit the bottom. If North Korea desperately wants food aid from the international community, they must change by themselves.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Out!!

Samsung's Galaxy S3 will be sold more than Apple's iPhone.
Samsung's Electronics in South Korea began to sell 'Galaxy S3' in the United States.
'Galaxy S3' has been released with same design and model name through big 5 telecommunication company in United States such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular for the first time. So it is widely expected that 'Galaxy S3' is getting popular as that device has been sold out in some of the telecommunication company.
People familiar with 'Galaxy S3' values more on it than iPhone 4S in terms of technology because 'Galaxy S3' allows user to do two things at the same time on same screen and features speech recognition ability.
It is unknown about how Apple's iPhone 5 being released at the second half of this year will attract people with its features. But we know definitely that Samsung's 'Galaxy S3' will threaten iPhone by accounting for more market share.

President Lee Myong-bak in South Korea that was holding The 5th G-20 Summit participated in G-20 Summit in Mexico to prevent Europe financial crisis from spreading around the world and find a solution in dealing with global financial crisis.
Ahead of general meeting in G-20, President Lee took part in meeting with Mexican President and business summit.
It is said that President Lee will give an opinion in dealing with Europe financial crisis and suggest ways to reform financial system of Europe. In particular, he will urge many countries using Euro to solve economic gap between countries and finish combining their finance and banking.
As Lee was acclaimed by world leaders for the participation of Korea in working out solutions for the US economic/financial crisis by suggesting reform measures in international financial institution, expanding government debt finances, and signing free trade agreements, we hope that Korea's president Lee shows further global leadership by providing aid, and economic stimuli to the Eurozone crisis, and world economic stabilization.

We can overcome economic crisis

The G20 summit in Mexico, where world leaders devoted their time to solve the Eurozone financial crisis, has ended.
From this G20 summit world leaders agreed on the global efforts to unify Eurozone public finance and banking sector. At the Business summit (B20), President Lee Myung-Bak suggested few solutions in overcoming and implementing structural reform. His ideas gained great amount of support and world leaders identified with President Lee's solutions.
In 2008, President Lee emphasized the importance of free trade agreements, and contributed to the world economy by freezing trade protections.
We hope President Lee's solution presented at the G20 summit can lead the Eurozone to exit the plight of financial crisis.

Jeonju Korean traditional village

Last May, I visited Korea. I went sightseeing Seoul and several local tourist attractions. I went to Jeolabuk-do Jeonju-si. I saw Jeonju Korean-style house village. It was awesome.
Jeonju Korean-style house village was built in 1930. There are 543 Korean-style houses. Many foreign and domestic tourists visit the village.
I experienced many activities at Jeonju Korean-style house village, such as traditional weddings, tea ceremony, making bibimbab(Korean traditional dish), building Korean-style houses, making hanji(Korean traditional paper), and crafting with hanji.
The bibimbab had 25 different ingredients. So it was very delicious. Traditional wedding is very different from western weddings. It has a very unique and beautiful atmosphere, which made it special. Moreover, the tour guide explained very well, which made it very easy to understand.
I really recommend Jeonju Korean-style village as 'must-go' tourists spot for my friends.

The way to deter North Korea's provocations

Recently with the current circumstance, which is very uncertain and unstable, the transfer of wartime operational command, and the dissolution of the ROK-US Combined Forces Command scheduled to take place on Dec 1st, 2015, needs to be reexamined.
With the North's recent proclamation of itself as a nuclear state in their new constitution, and the GPS disruptions, cyber terrors, and threats against the ROK government and media, the most efficient defense against the North is deterrence through the maintenance of ROK-US military alliance, and the on-going existence, and presence of the ROK-US CFC.
I'm not a military specialist, but plan to rescind the dissolution of the ROK-US CFC sure is a relief in the current unstable security from the DPRK's threats.

North Korea's Sly Execution

Recently, it is believed that the occurrence of public execution in North Korea has decreased significantly.
But has the occurrence of execution in North Korea really decrease?
Far from it! The number of public execution may have decreased, but the number of secret execution increased.
Most of the recent North Korean defectors testified that they have not witnessed public execution last year.
We believe that the background behind the decrease in the frequency is from many factors, including international denunciation, loss of social control, bribery, and North Korean people's indifference to the North Korean regime.
North Korea is merely trying to trick the international society to avoid denunciation by decreasing the frequency of public executions.
As always, at the moment, the North is probably oppressing human rights, and devoting their resources in idolizing Kim Jong-Un.

Lee MB's role in the 6th G20

President Lee Myong-bak of South Korea, which held the 5th G-20 Summit, participated in the 6th G-20 Summit in Mexico to prevent the European financial crisis contagion spreading around the world and to find a solution to the global financial crisis.
Ahead of general meeting in G-20, President Lee met with the Mexican President and took part in the business summit.
It is said that President Lee will give his opinion in dealing with Europe financial crisis and suggest ways to reform the financial system of Europe. In particular, he will urge many countries using Euro to solve the economic instability caused by the use of common currencies, and show more unity in the European finance and banking sector.
Lee was acclaimed by world leaders for the participation of Korea in working out solutions for the US economic/financial crisis by suggesting reform measures in international financial institution, expanding government debt finances, and signing free trade agreements. We hope that Korea can show further global leadership by providing aid, and economic stimuli to the Eurozone crisis, and world economic stabilization.

Fake Cries at North Korea's Kim Jong-Un Speech

Kim Jong-Un made his second speech at a major public event since taking power in last December, addressing a children's rally aimed at winning a new generation's support. The speech was organized to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union founding.
During the speech, the young members of KCU started to burst into tears.
Was the festive speech such a touching one?
The whole over exaggerated scenery looked like a scam with extremely proficient musical actors. Kim Jong-Un, is it really worth being a leader who wants to be shown to the outside world to be a respected leader of warm-heartedness, at the cost of brainwashing innocent kids to burst into tears?
No matter how hard you try, what we see is a leader who is propagandize military-first policies, and idolizing yourself in front of innocent kids.
Don't you think it's about time that you grow up?

Patrons stand  a chance to win two tickets to South Korea when they spend more than RM100 in a single receipt. Isetan of Japan Sdn Bhd managing director Nobuharu Tutani said, "This marked the 15th year of the event and we are proud to once again share the exotic Korean fare with Malaysians." "This year's promotion is special as we have six Korean chefs joining us to showcase their authentic dishes.

North Korean regime losing reason of state...!

A country must put emphasis on moral legitimacy, just like humans. However, North Korean regime is apparently losing the reason of state by deteriorating international relations including the ROK.
North Korea's fragile foreign affairs, and provocations against South Korea is believed to be an act of survival, but the repeated actions are exacerbating the problem of legitimacy of the mere existence of North Korea..
3 generation of Kim's have reigned North Korea for over 60 years, and is now facing the worst ever domestic foreign problems. In order to overcome the hardships the north is facing, they must find the far gone reason of state. Kim Jong-Un must communicate with the international society and cooperate by reforms and opening up.

NK threatens S. Korean media for possible attack

North Korea said Monday its military has entered map coordinates of some conservative South Korean media offices as it threatened to strike their headquarters for their alleged insult to Kim Jong-un.

About 20,000 North Korean children pledged their allegiance to Kim as the North began a six-day festival on Sunday to mark the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

In response, some South Korean media dismissed the celebration as part of the North's attempt to win support for Kim, who took over the country following the December death of his father, long-time leader Kim Jong-il. Channel A, a television arm of the Dong-a Ilbo newspaper, compared Kim to the late German dictator Adolf Hitler over the anniversary celebration. The North has long bristled at any outside criticism of its leader and has made similar threats against the South over the past several months, although no actual attack has occurred.

In reaction to the criticism, the General Staff of the Korean People's Army said the North is ready to bomb the Seoul headquarters of the Chosun Ilbo at coordinates of 37 degrees 56 minutes 83 seconds North latitude and 126 degrees 97 minutes 65 seconds East longitude. It also revealed the coordinates of the Joongang Ilbo and Dong-a Ilbo newspapers, as well as the KBS, MBC and SBS television stations and CBS radio. It is the first time the North has released coordinates of intended targets in South Korea.

The General Staff demanded apologies from President Lee Myung-bak, and threatened to be struck by the North otherwise. "If the Lee group recklessly challenges our army's eruption of resentment, it will retaliate against it with a merciless sacred war of its own style as it has already declared," the General Staff said in the ultimatum carried by the North's official Korean Central News Agency. Moreover, the General Staff also warned that the North is "fully ready for everything" and "time is running out."

The problem is Seoul, the South Korean capital city of more than 10 million people and home to South Korean media headquarters, is within range of North Korea's artillery.

South Korea responded to the blatant threats by urging North Korea to immediately stop attacks against the South's media outlets. The North's move "is a grave provocative act" to South Korea's freedom and democracy, said Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Hyung-suk.

Also Monday, Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Hyung-suk urged the North to immediately stop threatening the South's media outlets. He said the North's threat was a grave "provocation" against South Korea's free and democratic system.

There is no freedom of the press in North Korea where authorities use state media as a propaganda tool to strengthen personality cults of the country's leaders. And without freedom, there is advancement. NK's Kim Jong=-Un must seek to stabilize the country by reviving the economy, and maintain a cooperative relation with the outside world, instead of provoking, bringing hell on earth go all out on haywire.

The Original Korean Wave Fan, Maureen O'Crowley

Maureen O'Crowley, the bureau director of the Seoul Tourism Organization's MICE (meeting, incnetive, convention, exhibition), department, considers herself the first Korean wave fan.
40 years ago, she moved to Korea because her father was stationed at the 8th United States Army. Ever since then, she was completely absorbed into the attractions of Korean culture and food.

As a middle school student, she explored Korea's ancient palaces, temples, and parks, and wondered the streets of Korea's traditional markets. She became mesmerized by the different, yet friendly culture of Korea. Nowadays, K-Pop, celebrities, K-Food, electronic products, cars, which are all the many components that are leading the Korean wave, is spreading in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Central & South Americas. Why don't you indulge yourself into the beauty and attractions of the history, culture, and tradition of Korea?

Just another NK's ridiculous acts...

Through revision of its constitution, North Korea declared itself as a nation that have had nuclear weapons. Even though North Korea made an announcement not to proliferate nuclear weapons and stop doing nuclear research, it ignored demand from international community.
Why did North Korea declare itself as a nation that have had nuclear weapons despite continuing criticism from international community? Unless Kim Jong-un administration don't officially attach the content declaring North Korea as a nation that have had nuclear weapons in its constitution, its administration can't be able to control mind of its people.
However, this remark from North Korea only makes sanctions from UN more intense. In the situation which international communities including United States made a announcement it can't recognize the statement North Korean government published, We'd like to send a message to Kim Jong-un that if he regard nuclear test and missile launch as a return for negotiation with international community, that is definitely his mistake.

Kaiwo Maru

The biggest sailing ship in terms of scale called 'Kaiwo Maru' came into Yeosu port in South Korea to participate in Yeosu Exposition.
Visitors to Yeosu Expo can watch that ship for four days. And many events in regard of 'Kaiwo Maru' will be held during that time. It is consisted of opening inside of the sailing ship to visitors, 'Sail Drill' in which about 100 sailors on that ship altogether spread the huge sail and crews on top of the sail saluting in line with command which is unusual ceremony.
Also, under the theme of 'Korea-Japan friendship', special concerts such as that of Japanese Diva 'Kuraki Mai' and parades like large-scale fireworks are going to be held. That makes Yeosu Expo more interesting and attractive to prospect visitors.

NK Followers

One lawyer in Korea called Kim Jong Un and Kim Jong Il "a biXch" and that is angering a lot of pro-North groups in Korea.
A lot of people in China and Korea are supporting this lawyer's comment.
Many people who saw this comment in Chinese media saying that these Kim father son duo who destroyed an entire country with their anti-human rights criminal actions and ridiculous economic reforms deserve to be called "a biXch".
Last month, North Korea captured Chinese fishing boats and fishermen, after all that China has done for them! There is a huge uproar amongst the Chinese public, stating that Kim Jong Un and his posse needs to learn their lesson.
As long as Kim Jong Un continues his crazy antics, there won't be a single country in the world that will support North Korea.

North Korea's Cruelty to Animals

U.K.'s The Sun newspaper introduced North Korea's circus as the most cruel circus in the world. The newspaper pointed to North Korea's animal circus and called it borderline animal cruelty.
The newspaper also says the bears were captured from the wild and tortured from a very young age, and those that survived were forced to do tricks by being threatened with hot poles heated with fire.
The North Korean circus is just fun and games for the wealthy and corrupted! The animals must suffer just to entertain these few people. What kind of ridiculous country is this? The tortured animals forced to perform for the enjoyment of the upper elite alludes to the North Korean common people forced to labor and starve for the greedy and ostentatious behavior of their dear leader Kim Jong Un.

Asia Security Summit

The 11th Asia Security Summit(Shangri-La Dialogue) was held in Singapore on June 1st and 2nd. Ministers of National Defense from over twenty countries, including Korea, U.S.A., China, Russia and Japan gathered in Singapore to discuss the security situation in Asia.
One of the heated topics was North Korea's nuclear experiment and missile experiments. Southeast Asia's territorial dispute over the South China sea was also a big discussion topic.
Minister of National Defense Kim, Kwan Jin of South Korea participated in a Korea, U.S.A., Japan Defense Summit and also had meetings with India and Australia's Ministers of Defense. He had discussions about North Korea, South China Sea's territorial dispute, and the overall peace of the Asian continent.
One thing to note is the summit's collective decision to stand strong against North Korea's provocation ways, like their missile experiments, nuclear experiments and other forms of human cruelty. The summit's consequential action regarding North Korea in the coming weeks and months is something to look forward to.

Kim Jong Who??

Just found it interesting...

Korea's President Lee visits China, and works to sign Korea-China FTA...!

The Korean president visited Beijing, and appeared in Chinese national TV network, CCTV2. During the interview, president Lee stated that both countries are hoping to gain benefits from Kor-China FTA, and believe that the FTA will be signed within 2 years.

President Lee stated that although there are sensitive sectors, such as agriculture, and small business products, if both countries come to understanding, the FTA will be made possible within 2 years, and if the FTA is indeed signed, Kor-China FTA will bring unprecedented economic benefits.

Through the meeting, the leaders of both countries transcended trivial matters, and agreed to cooperate in politics, economy, foreign affairs, and national security to contribute to a stable, and peaceful East Asia.
