Psy joined global super stars like Muse, Alicia Keys and the Killers for the MTV Europe Music Awards. Millions of viewers from scores of countries around the world watched Psy perform his Gangnam Style song and his horse-riding dance for the audience before picking up the Best Video award at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA) held in Festhalle, in Frankfurt, Germany. It marks the first time a Korean performer has been awarded the Best Video Award from MTV. Heidi Klum referred to him as the undisputed King of Pop as she welcomed him onto the stage to perform Gangnam Style. The song has been viewed more than 700 million times on YouTube and received a record-breaking 4.9 million likes on Facebook since being released in mid-July. If this continues, Gangnam Style may become the most viewed video in the world. Psy, now a huge K-pop super star, will no doubt, receive continual attention from the world.
