Korean war veterans and their family gathered in Busan to commemorate the 62nd year since the Korean war.
Busan has the world's only United Nations Memorial Cemetery to honor UN soldiers from 16 countries that were killed in battle during the Korean War. Since 2009, Korean Memorial Day annual event is held in June, where they invite Korean war veterans to express gratitude to those who have sacrificed, and dedicated their lives for peace.
So far, 8 war veterans and their families visited Busan. This year, 6 families of war veterans from Turkey, Australia, Canada visited UN Memorial Cemetery.
We hope that the Korean Memorial Day invitation event to be successful to express our gratitude to those who have devoted and sacrificed their life in the name of peace.
